BAC Systems Pty Limited - (May 2015 - May 2024)
Front-End Developer

During my time as the IT Manager at BAC Systems Pty Ltd, I successfully upgraded the company's IT infrastructure, taking it from a small business scale to a medium-sized enterprise. By strategically implementing modern technologies, I made sure that our systems not only kept up with the changing needs of our business operations but also set a new industry standard.

Under my leadership, I drove various interdisciplinary initiatives that played a pivotal role in the company's success. Notably, I led the project to migrate the original legacy website from the SilverStripe CMS to the Magento eCommerce platform, introducing online sales, a service the company had not offered previously. Subsequently, I developed a proof-of-concept eCommerce store using Shopify and integrated it with the company's ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central. This initiative demonstrated to the company's board the potential benefits of streamlining sales and logistics operations while reducing costs by adopting a more modern platform.

I also utilised my graphic and industrial design expertise in tasks such as compiling new product catalogues, managing the company's website assets, publishing press releases, and overseeing the company's social media profiles on platforms like Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. Additionally, I was involved in creating industrial drawings and presentations for large sales projects to support the company's sales team.

In addition to my skills in web development, my proficiency in software suites such as Adobe Creative Cloud (including Photoshop and Illustrator) and the Autodesk Manufacturing Suite, featuring 2D and 3D CAD systems, as well as photorealistic rendering solutions like Autodesk VRED, greatly contributed to my success in these endeavours.
